My Approach to Helping
My approach to therapy is to provide a comfortable, open, and trusting environment to those of all background and cultures. The most important aspect of therapy is the "fit" between therapist and client. That is why I offer a free 30 minute consultation because we all know that the process of seeking help is difficult enough. I have extensive experience in working with children and adolescents that are disruptive or suffering from all forms of loss. I also specialize in marriage counseling by using a non-biased approach to each partner as well as improving more effective communication skills

I am a New York licensed clinical social worker (http://www.op.nysed.gov/lcsw.htm) who works with individuals (ages 5 and up), couples, and families. I received my Masters of Social Work from Columbia University and have been practicing in the field of social work for 8 years. I offer a free consultation/first session because we all know that the process of seeking help is difficult enough.
