My Approach to Helping

If you're feeling anxious, worried, overwhelmed, or hopeless about yourself, your life, or your relationships, the time for change is now; I may be able to help. At unexpected junctures in our lives we find ourselves challenged, and invited to expand beyond our historical modes and patterns. Or, we are asked to respond to a more deeply sensed source of discontent. In a safe and supportive environment we will explore your situation, your difficulties and see your whole self more fully through the present moment experience - relieving your pain and allowing more and more positivity and satisfaction into your life. Issues that can be addressed include: relationship issues, anxiety and stress management; the impact of recent or historical trauma - physical and emotional abuse; eating issues and disorders, depression, loss and grief, meaning and purpose of life.

We will explore together where and how the need to have safety, connection, and meaning is guiding your life. This takes a strength and confidence that can be accessed and developed - new choices can be made. These choices restore vitality and contact with the inherent goodness which we can experience ever more strongly and which can become more consistently available to you.

With the supporting awareness of the sensations and feelings occurring in your body, meaningful and satisfying changes can more rapidly arise. New options replace old locked-in patterns and provide new flexibility. These new responses (new resources for lasting change) will steadily integrate.

Personal Growth - Support for Transition; Relationship & Communication Difficulties; Stress - Anxiety - Overwhelm; Anger - Frustration; Eating Issues - Self-Esteem; Trauma from Physical or Emotional Abuse. My degree is from the John F. Kennedy University's School of Holistic Studies, with a concentration in Somatic Counseling. I have 2 years post-degree training in Psycho-Physical Therapy integrating posture, movement, feelings and sensations into the therapeutic process. My work is also influenced by 25 years of spiritually-based meditation practices, and 5 years of work in the Diamond Approach to Inner Realization and many years of Enneagram studies.
