My Approach to Helping
If you're feeling anxious, worried, overwhelmed, or hopeless about yourself, your life, or your relationships. Or, you may be recognizing to a more deeply sensed source of discontent. The time for change is now. When these kinds of pressures arise we find ourselves challenged and know that we need to expand beyond old responses that just aren't resolving the situation or our pain.
In a safe and supportive environment we will explore your situation and see your whole self more fully through the present moment experience. You have every capacity within yourself needed to proceed safely in resolving the issues you face. You will always lead "Where to go" or "What to do" next. We will explore together where and how the need for safety, connection, and meaning is truly guiding your life.
With increasing awareness of the sensations and feelings occurring in your body that accompany your thoughts and beliefs, meaningful and satisfying changes can more rapidly arise. New choices replace old reactions and provide new flexibility. These new responses become effective resources for the lasting change you want and deserve.
This exploration will relieve emotional pain and lead to much more positivity and satisfaction in your life. An unsuspected strength and confidence will emerge and develop as new insights arise and choices are made.
These will restore vitality and reconnect you with the inherent goodness that has always been within. These qualities will be experienced ever more strongly and will become more consistently available to you.
More Info About My Practice
My work is also influenced by 8 years of personal exploration in the Diamond Approach to Inner Realization, Enneagram studies, and 27 years of spiritually-based meditation practices. I have 2 years post-degree training in Psycho-Physical Therapy integrating posture, movement, feelings and sensations into the therapeutic process.
My degree is from the John F. Kennedy University's School of Holistic Studies, with a concentration in Somatic Counseling.
