My Approach to Helping
Are you tuning into and really taking care of yourself? Are you listening to what you really need to be doing and focusing on? Perhaps you have been feeling sad, depressed, unmotivated, anxious or just plain "blah"? Maybe you?ve been experiencing stress in your relationships, at work, or in other areas of your life? It is so important to embrace your core self so that you can function from a more balanced, connected and centered place. This centering will give you the foundation from which to navigate your life in a balanced and fulfilling way.
I help clients of all ages connect to living their true Self by teaching them how to determine and respect what?s most important for them. Honoring your personal truth in this way is the key to achieving increased and durable joy, love, health, passion and fulfillment?all that we long to have in our lives.
More Info About My Practice
I use a client-centered, collaborative, and holistic approach that is directed toward what you desire to receive from your treatment. I am also certified in a technique called EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) that helps clear trauma and past negative experiences. Negative past experiences (whether large or small) can stay embedded in your body, and cause considerable physical, emotional, and mental strain. If these experiences are not cleared, they will interfere with the forward motion in your life.
Together, we create a warm, nurturing and safe environment where you can feel comfortable exploring vulnerable issues and doing the healing work that you need. With my support, you can develop a more connected relationship with your true Self as you learn to embrace, honor, accept, listen to and love yourself more fully. Periodically, we will check in to see how you are doing in reaching your goals and whether we need to make changes to our strategy. Once you achieve your goals, you can decide whether there is something else you?d like to work on in our therapy or move on. Whatever you choose, you will always be welcome here. What I Usually Need to Know to Help
In order for us to work together and begin effective therapy or life coaching, I need to know a few things about you! Most of all, I'll need to know what you are coming into therapy for and what you hoping to get out of our time together. I also need to know some history about your life and learn about when the issues you are struggling with. A basic overview of when the issue began to develop and how it has played out in your life is a great start to get us connected and on the path to healing.
