My Approach to Helping
Are you tuning into and really taking care of yourself? Are you listening to what you really need to be doing and focusing on? Or, are you distracted, sidetracked, ignoring that core part of your Self and settling for less in your life? Are you getting the most out of your life right now? Or, perhaps you have been feeling sad, depressed, unmotivated, anxious and or just plain blah? Maybe you've been experiencing stress in your relationships, at work or other areas in your life? It is so important to embrace your core self so that you can function from a more balanced, connected and centered place. So you can have that foundation from which you navigate your life.
I help clients of all ages connect to living their true Self by teaching them how to listen to, respect and attend to what's most important for them. From this authentic place within and honoring your truth is the way towards achieving increased and durable joy, love, health, passion and fulfillment, all that we long to have in our lives.
More Info About My Practice
I use a client-centered, collaborative, and holistic approach that is directed toward what you want to get out of treatment. Also, I am certified in a technique called EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) that helps clear trauma and past negative experiences, those experiences that sometimes stays a part of us, if not cleared, by staying stuck not only in our psyches but also in our bodies and central nervous systems that so often interfere with our moving forward in our lives.
Together we create a warm, nurturing and safe environment where you can feel comfortable exploring vulnerable issues and doing the healing work that you need. With my support, you can develop a more connected relationship with your true Self as you learn to embrace, honor, accept, listen to and love yourself more fully. Periodically, we will check in to see how you are doing in reaching your goals and whether we need to make any changes to our strategy. Once you achieve your goals, you can decide whether there is another issue or goal you'd like to work on in our therapy or move on. Whatever you choose, you will always be welcome here. I am here to support your needs!

What I Usually Need to Know to Help
Generally, what I need to know about you if we were to work together are a couple of things. First of all, I'd need to know what you are coming into therapy for and what are you hoping to get out of it? Then, I would need to know some history about your life and learn about when this issue or issues started to develop and how they have played out in your life.
