My Approach to Helping
Starting therapy is a bold, beautiful move. Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just know something has to shift, I’m glad you’ve found your way here.
I’m Tori, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHC), EMDR-certified therapist, and someone who believes in healing that’s honest, compassionate, and transformative. My work is about helping you come home to yourself, build healthier relationships, and move through life with more clarity and ease.
I hold a Master’s in Psychology from the University of Washington and EMDR certification from The Institute for Creative Mindfulness. I’m also trained in attachment-based family therapy and specialize in helping individuals, couples, and families heal from relational wounds and build deeper connections.
Before private practice, I spent years in residential treatment settings, supporting adolescents and young adults through the depths of trauma, self-harm, and emotional crisis. That experience shaped my approach: grounded, trauma-informed, and centered around real, lasting change.
Whether you're navigating attachment struggles, people-pleasing, self-esteem challenges, or unresolved trauma, I’ve got a solid, evidence-based toolkit to support you. I integrate EMDR, DBT, CBT, ACT, and more to meet you where you are and walk with you toward where you want to be.
If you're ready to unpack the past, shift old patterns, and create a life that feels more aligned, I'm here for it. Let’s get to work.
