My Approach to Helping
It\'s not easy, asking for help. You may feel lost, confused, and ashamed that this is happening and unsure about where to turn. Reaching out for help speaks to your readiness to improve your life and circumstances. This is a step forward.
Working together, we will address what\'s most important, whether depression, anxiety, relationship conflicts, PTSD-related symptoms, or anger management issues. I believe in a strong therapeutic relationship and offer mindful, nonjudgmental support so you may begin to live the life you thrive for. We will work hard, incorporating aspects of Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy and solution-focused strategies to help you find what you are looking for.
More Info About My Practice
Along with my mental health treatment credentials and my goal-oriented, positive behavioral approach, I have a background as an executive inside a Fortune 50 company. This professional background enhances my ability to work as an agent of change by grounding my acumen and experience; nonetheless, I believe each person is finally responsible to facilitate the changes that are best suited to their genuine selves.
Also, I accept Blue Shield, CHIPA, Health Net, and Victim Assistance, and am happy to provide a super-bill.
My Role as a Therapist
Therapy is a collaborative process and goals are based on your desired outcomes of personal growth and insight. I have a direct, yet compassionate approach in helping people cope better and improve their lives. Like all healthy relationships, therapy should provide an environment created on mutual reverence, honesty and trust.
