What's My Approach to Therapy?

You may find yourself repeating patterns that feel deeply familiar but hard to change. Relational psychoanalysis offers a collaborative, in-depth approach to understanding how your past lives on in the present; so you can loosen its grip, expand your inner world, and move through life with more choice and aliveness. Psychoanalysis no longer entails lying on a stuffy old Freudian-looking couch; it's a deep, curious exploration of your inner world. We'll talk about anything that comes up: feelings, memories, and even dreams. One of my specialties includes contemporary dream analysis. Together we'll unravel patterns that no longer suit you and expand your relational freedom. I absolutely love what I do. I learn from my patients every single day. I practice in-person in Encino and have a very cozy office (with free la croix). I also see patients virtually in CA, NJ, and NY.

My Practice & Services

I have a specialty in contemporary psychoanalytic dream interpretation. I find that when patients bring their dreams into treatment, it radically deepens the therapy and allows us to befriend new parts of patients' inner worlds. I also work frequently with dissociation and clients dealing with concerns along the dissociative spectrum, including dissociative identity disorder.
