My Approach to Helping
As a seasoned therapist, I have come to see that we all have strengths and weaknesses, and most of us do the best we can with the tools we have learned. However, sometimes life throws us a curveball, or we are challenged by a situation with which we lack the skills to cope. This can be an unexpected physical or mental diagnosis, the loss of a job, moving to a new area, or transitioning to high school, for example. It's my job to help you to see things in a way that is empowering and to bring hope for change.
More Info About My Practice
My office hours are from Monday through Friday beginning at 2:00 pm, and my last appointment is at 7:00 pm. This is to accommodate people who work, or go to school full time. I also practice clinical hypnotherapy to help when it seems appropriate and if it is something you are interested in trying. I have found it to be very helpful, especially with anxiety and depression issues.

How Psychotherapy Can Help
Overall, psychotherapy helps by expanding one's view of the world, each person's ability to control their perception, and of the impact they can have on creating a happier life.
