What's My Approach to Therapy?
Hello! Starting therapy can feel daunting, but my goal is to create a space where you feel safe, understood, and supported right from the start. I believe each person’s journey is unique, so I tailor our work to meet you exactly where you are. Whether you’re navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, psychosis, or are unsure yet we’ll use approaches that fit you—not a “one-size-fits-all” plan. Sometimes this means using proven, structured methods; other times, we may explore creative tools that offer new ways to process and heal.
I draw from a few modalities including Accelerated Resolution Therapy, which helps reframe distressing memories to eliminate triggers, and art therapy, which can give shape and color to feelings that words can’t always capture. Sessions are often a mix of conversation, reflection, and even laughter as we build trust and move toward meaningful change.
