Hello! I'm Sunnie Allen. I'm licensed as a mental health counselor (LMHC) and clinical addictions counselor (LCAC). My clinical work is driven by connection, empathy, empowerment, and a belief that everyone has the ability to change and reach their highest potential. I specialize in perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, substance use, trauma and anxiety disorders, and co-occurring disorders. I operate from a humanistic lens and I utilize a few different techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness interventions, acceptance and commitment therapy, and person-centered therapy. Outside of my clinical work, I serve on the Indiana Board for Postpartum Support and International and am pursuing a PhD in counselor education and supervision where I am focused on clinical research, supervision, teaching, and leadership advocacy within the field of counseling.
