What's My Approach to Therapy?

If you’re here, you’re probably carrying something heavy — a pattern you can’t break, emotions that feel too big, or a sense that you’re stuck in cycles you don’t fully understand. My approach is to meet you right where you are, with steadiness, curiosity, and compassion.

I help you slow down enough to notice what’s happening inside, make sense of the deeper emotional and relational roots of your distress, and begin reshaping the patterns that keep you stuck. I pay close attention to the stories you tell yourself, the places you tighten or shut down, and the longings underneath the pain.

Therapy with me is collaborative and paced to your needs. I bring a mix of emotional attunement, practical tools, and clear guidance to help you understand your inner world and create new ways of relating to yourself and others. Together, we work toward relief, clarity, and a more grounded sense of connection.

My Practice & Services

In addition to individual and couples therapy, I offer several therapy groups designed to support emotional regulation, relational healing, and skill-building.

Current group offerings include a depression therapy group and a dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) skills group, with additional groups launching in 2026. Planned groups will focus on anxiety, trauma, and obsessive compulsion (OCD).

Each group is structured to foster safety, clarity, and meaningful change. I welcome clients who are curious about exploring healing in a shared space. My practice is grounded in depth-oriented, integrative care, and I work collaboratively with each client to shape a path that feels attuned to their needs and goals.

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist

What I love about being a psychotherapist is the chance to sit with people in the places that matter most, the places where they're trying to understand themselves, break old patterns, and move toward something more honest and grounded.

I've always been drawn to listening deeply, noticing patterns, and making sense of what's happening beneath the surface, and I'm grateful that I get to use those strengths in a way that genuinely supports people.

Helping clients create real shifts in their lives gives me a profound sense of purpose and connection. This work feels meaningful, steadying, and aligned with who I am.

Groups I Work With

I work with adults from many backgrounds who are navigating shame, emotional dysregulation, anxiety, depression, identity questions, and the effects of developmental or relational wounds. Many of the people who come to me feel stuck in cycles of self‑criticism, disconnection, or overwhelm — knowing something needs to change but unsure where to begin. I’m especially attuned to clients seeking a grounded, compassionate space to understand themselves more deeply, and together we build skills for clarity, connection, and self‑trust.
