My Approach to Helping
I am interested in helping people live better lives by learning more about themselves and how they interact with others. My first goal when meeting with you is to establish a genuine and collaborative connection. This will serve as the foundation for the work necessary to deal with daily feelings, understand experiences, and make positive changes to your life.
My focus is using psychotherapy as the tool to achieve your goals, which can include relief from feelings of depression and anxiety, understanding past experiences, living in the present, and navigating life changes and relationships. When appropriate, I can also prescribe medications that can further our work.
My background in psychodynamic psychotherapy and clinical neuroscience allows me to integrate various concepts to formulate an appropriate treatment plan for you. This can offer a more integrated care rather than going to multiple providers. I offer both individual and group treatment.
