My Approach to Helping

Whether you are experiencing anxiety, relationship issues, navigating life's stresses, screaming at the world going bonkers, coping with trauma, experiencing despair, seeking answers to spiritual or existential questions, or pursuing personal growth, I will work hard to empower and help you. I am fully committed to helping you with your deepest suffering and highest aspirations. Together, we will explore, clarify, and address issues at the root of your concerns, and nurture the emergence of your inner wisdom, integrating body, mind, and spirit, guiding you towards inner peace and the fulfillment of your vision for your life.

I have over 16 years of expertise in residential and outpatient settings at one of the foremost South Bay addiction treatment centers. Although I have specialized in treating substance use disorders, I also have significant experience working with patients experiencing co-occurring anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, and other mental health challenges.

Whatever you might be experiencing right now, my heart goes out to you. Life can really suck. At times, seemingly impossible to “figure out”. Through my own life experiences and clinical work, I have experienced and witnessed profound suffering. Through all of that, I’ve learned there is a way. Reach out. I’d love to hear from you and help you find that way.

More Info About My Practice

My approach is holistic, dynamic, and engaging, blending mindfulness, depth work, and practical strategies within an evidence-based framework. While interventions are tailored to your unique circumstances, you can also expect deep empathy, genuine care in an authentic interpersonal space, and nonjudgmental support, all rooted in an honoring and explorative curiosity about whatever concerns you might be facing and any hidden patterns that might be at play.

A few more details that might of interest. I'm a former refugee from genocide, came to the USA at age 15 and a half. I've a BA in Physics from Reed (thesis in biophysics), worked as a software engineer in Portland, OR for 4 yrs, and came to the Bay Area to get a Dr in Clinical Psychology, with an aim to integrate spirituality, psychology, and science. For the past 16+ years, I have been working with folks struggling with addiction and numerous dual diagnoses, most of whom are within the criminal justice system. I am also the current president of the Association for Transpersonal Psychology, have been certified in basics of Org Design and Transformation, and have traveled extensively in Arizona and the Four Corners area, led by a spiritual calling. Reach out if any of this resonates, or if you are just curious to explore further.
