My Approach to Helping
You're finding that your stress, anxiety, depression, or other mental health symptoms are keeping you from living the life that you want to live. You feel held back by these issues and want to find ways to enjoy life freely. Whether you are experiencing performance issues in sports, hobbies, or work, or you notice that your relationships are impacted by these struggles, you are looking for help to get to the freedom you dream of.
I utilize person-centered approaches with clients to encourage those that I work with to see the strength and insight that they hold in themselves. I am trained in brainspotting and utilize this tool with clients to address various issues. My experiences in the mental health field allow me to walk alongside you as you explore what is impacting you the most.
Regardless if this is your first time reaching out for therapy or not, it is not always easy to make the next move. Let's set up a time to chat by phone-I hope to discuss with you what you are looking forward to in therapy and to see if we may be a good fit! This time can give us an opportunity to connect before meeting for our first session!
More Info About My Practice
I am seeing clients in person in my office in the Cool SpringsBrentwood area and have telehealth availability as well!
I have been practicing in addiction treatment for the past several years and am so excited to be seeing clients in private practice. My experience in the mental health field has given me opportunities to provide care to those in need via crisis hotlines, case management services, and now - therapy! I have been given the chance to provide care at so many levels which has helped me to take a well-rounded approach to caring for clients in my work now.
Had a Negative Therapy Experience?
I've been there too. Not all providers will be good fits for some people - this means nothing about you as a client. Let me know if you've had a negative therapy experience as I hope that we can learn together what works and doesn't work for you in your healing journey.
The Duration and Frequency of Therapy
Initially, I prefer to see clients weekly while we establish what your needs are - as therapy progresses, then we have the option to see each other biweekly, monthly, or as needed. The frequency that we see each other is a collaborative decision based off your needs at the time.
