Everyone has a story to tell and I look forward to hearing yours.
Sam Rosen is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 9 years of experience providing mental health services. Sam has worked in a variety of treatment settings including inpatient, day treatment, in-home therapy, office-based outpatient therapy, and telehealth. He has worked with a wide range of clientele from diverse backgrounds. Sam has extensive experience in treating anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, anger management, and grief. Sam completed a Bachelor of Arts in Literature and Psychology from the University of North Carolina, Asheville, and a Master of Social Work from the University of North Carolina, Charlotte. Over the course of his career, Sam has had the joy of forming long-term relationships with clients over months and sometimes years, which has allowed him to witness their personal growth over time. He understands and enjoys exploring the unique complexity of each individual's life. He utilizes a variety of treatment approaches but primarily specializes in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), which focuses on the connections between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and solution-focused therapy, which targets specific goals and how to navigate toward achieving them. Sam believes therapy is best conducted in a friendly, laid-back atmosphere. While he enjoys exploring the emotional depths of his clients' inner lives, he also enjoys a good laugh and strives to make therapy a positive, enriching experience.
