My Approach to Helping
My clients struggle with life just like you. They want more out of life and have struggled to find fullness and meaning. They are hurting from wounds from the past, difficulties in present-day relationships, and wrestle with self-identity. Just like you, they have tried everything they can think of to help themselves, perhaps even trying therapy or counseling before. And like you, they want a place to explore life in a nonjudgmental and safe environment. My goal is to help you wonder, discover, and ask the hard questions about life, and about your life.
Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With
We all struggle with the question of "who am I?" This question of identity and purpose is the fuel for how we live and approach life. I have found that my clients who address this issue are beyond successful in achieving their goals and enjoying life. It's a question that I have wrestled with, and have found that no one buy you has the answer to this. Sometimes, we can't find that answer without some guidance and help.
My View on the Purpose of Psychotherapy
Therapy exists to provide a safe, reliable, and positive atmosphere to allow for the journey of life to be examined and not judged. The goal of therapy is to foster hope, deepen the capacity for intimacy, and live fully.
