My Approach to Helping

My approach for therapy is to provide my clients with a warm, empathetic space to be vulnerable. I understand how hard it is to share your story which is why I’m here to listen! It is during moments of overwhelming stress that we need the most compassion. I want you to know that you're not alone. Your story is meaningful to me, and I am here to assist you in dealing with tough life circumstances by helping you rediscover your strength, heal past wounds, and enhance your relationships promoting positive self-growth.

More Info About My Practice

I specialize in helping clients suffering from severe depression, anxiety, as well as healing from trauma. I work with couples seeking help for pre-marital, marital concerns, infidelity recovery, understanding attachment styles, modern dating, and dealing with interpersonal conflicts.

As a clinician of color I work with clients struggling with identity and enculturation issues. My hope is to help you in developing your cultural identity, I believe that by honoring your feelings regarding your ethnic diversity you can live more authentically.
As a South Asian Muslim therapist I understand the struggle that comes with being different, and trying to find a good balance between being true to oneself, as well as fitting in. I am committed to providing you with a warm and empathetic safe space to share your story, to feel heard, and understood.

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist

For me, what I value the most about being a therapist is to see my clients grow, heal, and build a healthy relationship with themselves, and others centered on self-love, compassion, and connection.
I'm passionate about dispelling stigma regarding seeking mental health services within the BIPOC, South Asian, and Muslim communities. My aim is to normalize therapy and help those in the community who often feel alone and unheard.
