What's My Approach to Therapy?

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck in your own head, you might be here because something no longer feels sustainable. Maybe your thoughts feel heavy, your nervous system feels on edge, or you’re doing your best to hold everything together while quietly wondering, “Why does this feel so hard?” If that resonates, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to figure it out by yourself.

I believe therapy should feel like a place where you can slow down, exhale, and be fully yourself without judgment. When we work together, I focus on helping you feel emotionally safe, understood, and supported while also offering practical tools that help create real change in your daily life.

My approach blends strengths-based therapy with cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). That means we’ll gently explore thought patterns, emotional responses, and behaviors that may be keeping you stuck—while also identifying your existing strengths and resilience. I don’t see you as “broken” or in need of fixing. I see you as someone who has adapted in ways that once made sense and now deserves new, more supportive tools.

Our work is collaborative and paced to meet you where you are. Some sessions may focus on insight and reflection, while others are more skills-based and practical. Together, we’ll build awareness, coping strategies, and confidence so you can feel more grounded, balanced, and in control—both inside and outside the therapy room.

Above all, I want therapy to feel human, empowering, and hopeful. My goal is to support you in reconnecting with yourself, trusting your inner wisdom, and moving forward with greater clarity and peace.

My Practice & Services

Peaceful Connections Therapy Place was created with the intention of offering therapy that feels supportive, grounded, and accessible. My practice operates with a client-centered approach, meaning sessions are thoughtfully paced and tailored to your unique needs, goals, and comfort level.

I offer individual therapy, couples and family counseling, and ketamine-assisted psychotherapy in collaboration with medical providers when appropriate. In addition to one-on-one work, I periodically offer workshops, psychoeducational groups, and resources focused on anxiety management, emotional regulation, and building practical coping skills for everyday life.

My practice values clarity and communication. From scheduling to billing, I aim to make the therapy process as straightforward and supportive as possible. Telehealth sessions are available, and in-person options may be offered depending on availability.

Peaceful Connections Therapy Place is built on the belief that healing happens through connection, consistency, and compassion. Whether you’re seeking short-term support or deeper personal growth, my goal is to provide a space where you feel supported, respected, and empowered throughout your therapeutic journey.

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist

What I love most about being a psychotherapist is the privilege of walking alongside people during moments of growth, clarity, and healing. I deeply value creating a space where clients feel safe enough to be honest, curious, and compassionate with themselves.

I find meaning in helping people recognize their strengths, gain insight into patterns that no longer serve them, and reconnect with a sense of balance and confidence. Whether the work involves skill-building, reflection, or deeper emotional exploration, I'm continually inspired by my client's resilience and courage.

Being a therapist allows me to combine presence, empathy, and practical tools in a way that supports real, lasting change and it's something I hold with great care and responsibility.

Groups I Work With

I work with adults, couples, and families who are navigating anxiety, stress, emotional overwhelm, and life transitions. Many of the clients I support are individuals who feel stuck in overthinking, self-doubt, or persistent worry, even while managing work, relationships, and daily responsibilities.

I also work with individuals experiencing heightened stress, difficulty regulating emotions, or patterns of negative thinking that impact their sense of peace or self-confidence. My approach is especially supportive for those who feel disconnected from themselves or are seeking healthier ways to cope, communicate, and move forward.

For couples and families, I provide a collaborative space to improve communication, strengthen emotional understanding, and build more supportive, balanced relationships.
