My Approach to Helping
Counseling is a big step. It is the first decision you make before you even begin exploring your concern more intimately. Therapy may not be celebrated in your world, or you're questioning if you should start. Therapy is not a step backwards; it is a way forward. Perhaps you’re impacted in your work, personal life, or relationships, including the one with yourself. Whatever it is, give yourself a chance.
I work from a Cognitive Behavioral Orientation. I work with clients dealing with anxiety, stress, depression, grief, family, identity and women's issues. I am a veteran and am familiar with military culture. I previously worked with LGBTQ+, racially diverse teens and adults, and those suffering with addictions providing both individual and group therapy.
I would love to help you navigate this work, its one of the most significant things you will ever do. I am available Monday, Wednesday, and Friday evenings only via Telehealth on a HIPAA compliant platform.
