My Approach to Helping
Do you feel like yourself? If not, what might be missing that would help you to feel more like yourself? Some days feel more challenging than others. Seasons of worry, sadness, insecurity, and relational distance can feel impossible to overcome. You might try to hide your emotions from the people around you for fear that they won't understand. You might experience greater conflict in relationships and isolate yourself as a result. You deeply desire a place to feel safe, understood, and known without judgment.
With individuals and couples, I seek to provide a context for the most challenging feelings to have a voice. In my work with adolescents, I prioritize honest communication and partnership with family when possible. My relational and collaborative approach seeks to promote insight and develop an understanding of what can feel impossible to overcome alone.
