My Approach to Helping

It’s 3 AM, and you can’t stop thinking about everything that can go wrong the next day. Then comes the tightness in your chest, butterflies in your stomach, tossing and turning in your bed, and looking at the clock. Things your mom, dad, siblings, and peers told you as a child have now shaped your life as an adult, and you carry those thoughts with you into every situation you encounter. You can hear the voices from your past, but now think they are your own. Those voices shape you, creating a belief system that has gone awry, complete with undue anxiety, fears, and doubts.

You and I will explore your inner thoughts and how they have shaken your self-confidence. By learning to identify and challenge those “cognitive distortions,” such as all or nothing thinking, discounting the positive, and emotional reasoning, you can begin to get the kind of relief you deserve! Most importantly you feel good about who you are.

Reclaim that feeling of self-confidence. I can help you create those changes through new ways of thinking. But you have to take the leap and want to leave that old self behind. If you can commit, I will be there by your side, guiding you every step of the way. That’s my commitment to you! Call now for your free 15 minute consultation.

More Info About My Practice

A fight is going to happen; the only question is when. You don’t even remember what started it; just a moment ago, you were quietly watching television, but now you’re at each other’s throats. Constant fighting with your partner has left you both feeling helpless and alone. You still love your wife, and you want so badly to reconnect with her, but no matter what you do, you’re trapped in this cycle of conflict. Lately, it seems conflict is the only thing that still connects you. You hope desperately that there’s some way to mend this relationship, but you simply don’t know how. You can’t keep going like this. You need some help.

In a safe and supportive environment, we’ll break you free from your patterns of hostility. Using Emotionally Focused Therapy, you’ll learn to be more transparent and vulnerable to one another. This allows you to communicate more openly in your relationship and let the resentments fade. Rekindle the intimacy as you support one another again.

It’s time to reconnect with your partner and start enjoying the fulfilling relationship you deserve. Reclaim the feeling of closeness you felt at the start. Learn to communicate deeply as you understand your partner’s emotional needs. Don’t let your marriage slip through your fingers. Call now for your free 15-minute consultation.
