My Approach to Helping
It takes a great deal of courage to seek therapy and look inward to face the parts of ourselves and our relationships that we may be uncomfortable admitting exist. Within every individual is the power to heal themselves and working collaboratively in therapy will help facilitate that realization. My approach focuses on building resilience and hope through a blend of modalities including but not limited to Gestalt, attachment-based, emotion-focused, and existential therapy.
I believe it is a great privilege and honor to be a part of the journey through an individual's most challenging and rewarding life experiences. My goal in practice is to help individuals and couples feel safe in being themselves and to provide a nurturing, non-judgmental environment in which to grow their strengths, accept their weaknesses, and assimilate all the parts of their past and present that make up their most authentic selves.
I strive to always meet you where you are, be present, supportive, and help you achieve balance in every way I can. I provide therapy to individual adults & couples, with a focus on relationship issues, addiction, grief and loss, depression, and acute or chronic mental health diagnoses.
