My Approach to Helping
First of all- If you are feeling overwhelmed and lost right now, you are not alone. I see you. And I am glad that you are taking this step. There are so many difficult things happening around us and it is understandable if it feels like too much to handle sometimes. Perhaps you are making it through the days, but each night you are feeling exhausted and emotionally drained. Whether your struggles feel brand new, or they have been happening for quite some time- you do not have to face them alone.
I know that your life story is truly unique and I will take the time to get to know yours so that, together, we can help you find your strength and healing. I especially enjoy working with clients on both their personal struggles and how their relationships are impacted by these struggles. Parenting roles, family relationships, and child and adolescent development are my areas of expertise. I know that, even with the best intentions, relationships can be difficult to navigate, especially when life circumstances are getting in the way. In therapy, I strive to offer a safe and comfortable place for you to rediscover your strength, while also helping you find the tools to cope when it feels like too much too bear. I will be there to hear your story, support you, and explore a new path forward.
