My Approach to Helping
It can be so suffocating and painful to lose control of your addictions, your emotions, or your self worth. That sense of being stuck and unable to change the way you feel is all too common when you're living with trauma, addiction, anxiety, or depression. Unfortunately, when we believe that others don’t understand or accept us, we begin seeing ourselves as ‘different’, and we feel more isolated and alone. Eventually, we disconnect from ourselves and the people around us.
Nick will work with you to help you reconnect to the self compassion essential to breaking these cycles. Throughout this process, you will feel more in control of your internal life as your sense of limitation is replaced by that of freedom and possibility. Regardless of the hardships you're facing, You'll work together to notice and adjust the patterns dominating your life. This involves exploring and healing your connection with yourself, allowing you to participate in your relationships, work, and emotional world in a more authentic way.
