My Approach to Helping
Nadja is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with over 8 years of experience in the mental health field. Her personality is flexible and agile, allowing swift adaptation to a range of clients. She has the ability to quickly analyze information and situations and, in turn, provide efficient solutions and relevant recommendations. Nadja is passionate about helping children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families address their unique challenges and live more fulfilled lives. She specializes in depression, anxiety, grief, trauma (PTSD), relationship issues, and major life transitions. Nadja completed her Bachelor's and Master's of Arts degrees at Argosy University, Washington DC. She is active duty Air Force Veteran and currently serves in the Air Force reserve as a Senior Non-Commissioned Officer. She has ample unique experiences that allow her to help navigate the stressors and joys of not just military life but life in general. This, coupled with her professional experience, enables her to provide the support her clients seek. Nadja uses multiple treatment approaches including, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused therapy. We all go through challenges in life.
