My Approach to Helping
I believe in providing a non-judgmental space, in which a genuine therapeutic relationship can develop and thrive. Ideally this allows for two mutually beneficial input sources -- the therapist's expertise in psychological theory and treatments, and the client's invaluable knowledge of his or her unique set of past and present experiences.
Connecting with a therapist can be a challenging task. I also believe that this partnership is fundamental to successful therapeutic outcomes. Therefore, my personal advice is to you is, if you're unsatisfied or uncomfortable with your therapist, I'd encourage you to find one who "sits well" with you.
