My Approach to Helping
"One small crack does not mean that you are broken, it means that you were put to the rest and you didn’t fall apart.” –Linda Poindexter
Many times when we experience stressors or challenges, our lives take a different turn and we feel that our lives will never be the same but I believe that each of us has that innate ability to overcome those challenges and develop healthy coping skills to overcome those life stressors.
My name is Mary Russell-Wright and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia. I have over 17 years of experience as both a school counselor and community mental health counseling. For the last ten years I have been working at an agency where I have worked with a diverse populations including children, adolescents and adults with varying backgrounds, concerns and modalities.
I currently hold an Ed.S in Community Mental Health Counseling and my approach to therapy is to treat the holistic person because I believe that a person’s physical, mental, emotional and spiritual needs have to be addressed during the session. Each individual is unique so my treatment plans are tailored to treat the individual person so that they can integrate this in their daily lives.
I look forward to working with you and exploring some of the challenges that you are experiencing.
