My Approach to Helping
I am an MFT with experience tutoring, teaching and offering psychotherapy to adolescents, children and their families. Though I work together with clients of various academic levels, I specialize in working with people who academically struggle as a result of a learning disability and various educational obstacles. Along with family and individual psychotherapy, I also provide school observations and consultations. I find that by working together with school staff, teachers and other providers, my clients are able to achieve success within their academics and behavioral/emotional health.
Students today often feel overwhelmed with everything that is expected of them. Between academics, extracurricular activities, family and social obligations, students (and parents) feel stressed-out typically leading to problems with anxiety, depression, relational problems, drug and alcohol use, etc.
If you're looking for support and balance with academics, and/or helpful navigation through challenging circumstances, email or call me to schedule a consultation!
