My Approach to Helping
Are you frequently bothered by memories that just won't go away? When you face something new in life, are you worried you won't be able to handle it? Do you beat yourself up over past mistakes? Are you feeling burnt out in your relationships? Many of us read self-help books, which are limited because they don't fit our unique experiences.
With over 12 years' experience, I work as a therapist and emotional coach. I help you discover your true self in order to live a more effective and satisfying life. I help you resolve past traumas so you can free yourself from fear and self-limiting beliefs. I help you find what you truly want to do in life, so you can experience real vitality and passion. I believe you were born with talents and skills to express your unique personality and to be the person you want to be. I use powerful but gentle techniques to help you reach your goals. I provide a warm, compassionate atmosphere in which you can build trust in yourself and find the emotional support you need. Together, we can find the path that will lead you to a more fulfilling, happy and peaceful life.
No one therapy fits all people. I use a holistic approach involving body, mind and spirit. My basic therapeutic orientation is humanistic, client-centered and strengths-based, with a strong emphasis on EMDR, somatic, and psychodynamic techniques.
