What's My Approach to Therapy?

If you’re here, you may be feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or worn down by experiences that keep showing up in your life, no matter how much you try to move past them. You might know something isn’t working, but not yet know what to do differently or where to begin.

I work with adults who want to understand themselves more clearly and find a steadier footing in the present. In our work together, I focus on helping you make sense of patterns that developed for real reasons — often in response to difficult or traumatic experiences — and gently shift the ones that are no longer serving you. Therapy with me is thoughtful, collaborative, and paced carefully, with an emphasis on safety, clarity, and practical change.

You don’t need to have the right words or a clear plan before starting. My role is to help you slow things down, organize what feels overwhelming, and move forward in a way that feels grounded and sustainable. Together, we work toward greater insight, emotional steadiness, and a life that feels more manageable and aligned with who you are now.

My Practice & Services

Heritage Counseling Group is a small, clinician-led practice offering telehealth services to adults in Oregon. The practice emphasizes thoughtful, well-paced work and prioritizes consistency, clear communication, and professional boundaries.

In addition to individual therapy, the practice may offer clinical supervision for clinicians, as well as group-based services or consultation when appropriate. Services are provided via a secure telehealth platform, and scheduling is arranged directly with the clinician to support continuity and a good therapeutic fit.

On the Fence About Going to Therapy?

If you?re on the fence about starting therapy, you?re not alone. Many people wait because they?re unsure it will help, don?t know where to start, or feel hesitant about opening up. Therapy doesn?t require you to have everything figured out ? it?s a place to slow things down, make sense of what?s been weighing on you, and decide what you want to change. We can start exactly where you are.
