My Approach to Helping
Marsha obtained her Bachelors in Psychology and Sociology (with a certificate in her studies race, gender, and sexuality) from the University of Pittsburgh. She has her Masters in Counseling from Immaculata University and MBA, with a concentration in Healthcare Systems Management, from Desales University. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Certified Advanced Addiction and Drug Counselor (CAADC) in the state of Pennsylvania. Marsha committed to helping you meet your goals by tailoring her therapeutic approach to fit the unique needs of each child, adolescent, adult, couple or family. She will collaborate with you to identify what may be holding you back from the freedom to live a more enriching life. Her mission is to help you rediscover a sense of hope and encourage you to move forward with the feeling of empowerment and a renewed ability to cope with life's challenges. She provides a safe space where you will be truly heard, seen and understood. In this caring environment, you will receive objective feedback based on deep listening, and interventions for issues such as relationship conflict, substance use, depression, anxiety and stress management. This process is tailored to your unique needs and situation, with the focus on developing strategies to assist in reaching your goals
