My Approach to Helping
First, I want to acknowledge the significance of the steps you are taking to seek support, as I know this process can feel scary and overwhelming. Finding a therapist that feels like the right fit can be a challenge and it is no small feat when we take steps towards wellness.
It is always my priority to create a space in which you feel safe to not only explore and express challenging emotions, but also to seek tools and skills to move toward the life you want. I want to work with you to build a trusting therapeutic relationship in which you feel comfortable to both share your experience and challenge yourself. My focus is to always be kind yet direct in order for you to feel both supported and seen.
My experience has given me the privilege of working with many people of diverse backgrounds and identities at many different life phases through a wide variety of challenges. Through this experience, I have seen first-hand that we all experience our lives and emotions in unique ways. My goal is to always put you at the center of your care and for us to work as a team to find solutions that work for you.
