My Approach to Helping
I believe that with strong motivation most anything is possible, and clients often just need a second ear/a professional who is trained in relationship dynamics or specific areas (like ADHD) to be able to create and live the life they want. I am a warm, active therapist who dives in and brings perspectives, thoughts, and questions in order to get a better understanding of you, your relationship(s), and goals. We work together to figure out solutions and strategies that work for you. I use the tools I have gathered in my arsenal over the last 14 years to help you attain your goals.
More Info About My Practice
My practice is focused on two main areas: 1) couples and 2) ADHD. I am passionate about helping couples in all stages of life. I enjoy helping engaged and newly married couples cement a strong foundation; couples who want to rejuvenate their relationship; helping very distressed couples on the brink of divorce or couples who've been unhappy for many years but want to see if they can revive their marriage. Additionally, I enjoy coaching/counseling individuals (of all ages) with ADHD or ADHD-like symptoms. I provide solution-focused, active strategies to make a difference in school/work, relationships, and improve productivity and focus.
The Duration and Frequency of Therapy
My work has an end in mind, and we work towards your goals. I am solution-focused, bringing in cognitive-behavioral and experiential therapy models to help you achieve your goals in as few sessions as possible. I am happiest when my clients achieve their goals and no longer need me!
