My Approach to Helping
I believe in fostering a non-judgmental relationship with individuals and practice from a strength-based perspective, focusing on one??s assets and potential. I practice dialectical behavioral therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, motivational enhancement, and person-centered techniques to assist patients in reaching their goals. My purpose is to help individuals improve coping skills, increase personal happiness, and discover stability in daily life. I have a passion for counseling and strive to improve the lives of my clients in ways that are both personally and relationally beneficial to them.
More Info About My Practice
Fee: $150 per hour
I do not accept insurance, however can provide a receipt which can be turned into insurance providers by the client for an "out of network" reimbursement rate or cost may go towards the deductible.
Had a Negative Therapy Experience?
We have all had negative experiences with service providers! Not all therapists are the same in personalities or in the therapy techniques used. Certain types of therapy are proven to be more beneficial with particular issues and disorders than others. Anyone seeking counseling should invest time in researching therapists in their area to see who they feel they would be most comfortable in gaining counseling services. I feel it is imperative for the client to feel secure with the therapist for a positive productive therapeutic relationship which has proven to be the number one factor in progress being made in counseling.
