Telehealth allows me to see anyone in Colorado. I offer a sliding scale of $75 to $90 an hour for individual, family and couple sessions and a discount rate of $45 a session with payment of four sessions up front at a time. I have weekend and evening availability. My office is located 5 miles from the Air Force Academy and I-25 and is convenient to Powers and Highway 83. My office is in a beautiful forest area and sensible Covid precautions keep us safe. Point-of-service payment for co-pays and deductibles are required. An initial free phone consultation is available.
Telehealth and in Person Services are available including Marriage, Family and Relationship Therapy and Co-Parenting Post-Divorce Work and New Parent Work (Baby Coming, Step-Parent, Adoptive Parent) using the Gottman method. EMDR is also an integral part of my services for Truama, Mood Disorders and Somatic Issues for adults and children. Children with Trauma, Mood Disorders, OCD, Grief and Attachment Work also benefit from an integrated approach with Sandplay Therapy and Filial Family Play Therapy, TFCBT, CBT andor animal-assisted work. Equine-assisted therapy is available in good weather with my Tenessee Walker Lady Mocha Choca Laca and my Mustang, Pistol, in a round-pen doing ground work, which will build your focus. Indoor canine-assisted work with my tiny Champion Russell terriers, Annabella, an AKC Companion Dog and Bentley, an AKC Canine Good Citizen are also confidence builders. You may spy my beautiful Dalmatians in the yard out front saying Hi!
The Sandplay Therapists of America recognizes me as a Registered Sandplay Practioner and the Play Therapy Association recognizes me as a Registered Play Therapist. EMDRIA recognizes my 2020 EMDR basic and advanced training in Trauma & SomaticPain Management with Adults and Children, as well as my consultation hours toward eventual certification. The Gottman Referral Network recognizes me as a Level II graduate in 2020 and my work toward certification with couples and parents. I completed two years of training at the Colorado Institute of Marriage and Family Therapy and am competent in DBT, CBT and TFCBT.
There are a series of 7 free workshops in a podcast format, which is attached to my website on Relationships: Gottman and Me. The podcast workshops will be available the first of December through the first of June 2021 at 7:00 pm and there will be a blog and forum starting the first of December on a variety of mental health topics. I have rolled back the start time on these events and my groups, as my hours are changing to be more available November 1st, 2020. At that time Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays will have open hours from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm and Saturdays 10 am to 5:00 pm. Remember if you live anywhere in CO, you can have services via Telehealth. Medicaid clients are restricted to those living in El Paso, Park, Jefferson and Boulder counties.
