My Approach to Helping
Your life is busy and filled with stress. Slowing down and looking inward often feels impossible. This choice to slow down and look inward at what is really troubling us is what brings many clients to therapy with me. Many of my clients have been living with a history of trauma and recognize the negative impact it has in their lives and are looking to make space for tangible healing. Working collaboratively and compassionately with my clients, I help them process experiences that contribute to current physical and mental health problems.
Trauma has a way of hijacking our nervous system so that we often feel unsafe even in situations that are actually safe. When you feel safe you can begin to heal. MY holistic Integrative approach works with the mind body and spirit, it brings together the empathy of Humanistic psychotherapy with somatic psychotherapy and neuroscience.
As a Holistic psychotherapy practice my effort is to see all illness arising out of an effort from the mind and body to heal itself.
