More Info About My Practice

I specialize in working with individuals and couples who want to make intentional, effective changes in their lives. I often support people during "crossroads moments", where internal and external transitions have created a temporary, but frustratingly enduring, sense of confusion about issues of identity, relationships, or spirituality. Such "crossroads moments" can include adjustment to parenthood, relocation, divorce, discovery of infidelity, loss of a loved one, career change, and many others.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

I have particular knowledge and experience regarding anxiety, life transitions, spirituality, and couples relationship issues. I have completed Level I and Level II training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy and incorporate this research-based approach in my work.

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist

I love witnessing journeys of change unfold. Every day, I hear stories of ordinary, yet incredible courage as clients step out into new paths for themselves and for their relationships. I am honored and humbled by what I learn from my clients about what it means to be human in a world that is both messy and magical. All of this would be plenty to keep me excited about my work, but I also experience myself as a co-investigator; working together with my clients to unlock mysteries about their past patterns and future possibilities is endlessly intriguing.
