My Approach to Helping

I have over 17 years of experience working with clients with OCD, anxiety, and trauma. I use evidence-based treatments, such as exposure and response prevention (ERP), so you can feel confident in the work we're doing. If you're struggling with anxiety, I can help you develop a plan to conquer your fears no matter how long you've been dealing with your symptoms. Many of my clients also struggle to have compassion for themselves and experience a lot of shame about their symptoms. I find that it can be helpful to address these issues as well.

My practice is 100% virtual. I find that most people prefer teletherapy because of the convenience of eliminating travel time. I am always happy to schedule a free consultation, and that can be over the telephone or a video session.

I've worked with a lot of clients who have had previous negative therapy experiences. If this is you and you're feeling hesitant about reaching out, I'd encourage you to give therapy another chance. I think it can be helpful to openly discuss previous therapy experiences and what worked well and what didn't work. Sometimes it's just about finding the right fit between client and therapist.
