My Approach to Helping
I am passionate about helping individuals make peace with food by first making peace with their bodies. I support clients in learning how to support, not fight against, their unique physiology. With the support of mindfulness practices, clients gain awareness which allows them to connect with the wisdom from their bodies.

Why Going to Therapy Does Not Mean You are Weak or Flawed
As Tao Te Ching once said, "Knowing others is intelligence; knowing yourself is true wisdom." Often times we are experts at observing others. We are able to pinpoint their flaws, destructive behaviors and the obstacles in their life that prevent them from experiencing love and connection.
It is less common for us to know the same details about our own life. Taking the same time to process our own lives is a sign of strength. As Brene Brown once said, "Vulnerability is the birthplace of connection and the path to the feeling of worthiness. If it doesn't feel vulnerable, the sharing is probably not constructive."
