I believe individuals deserve to live a life free of the relentless pain and fear anxiety and depression can cause. My approach as a therapist is simple, I believe in utilizing evidenced based therapies to reduce negative symptoms and increase coping skills that provide a higher quality of life. I specialize in helping young teenagers and adults bring healing to anxiety related conditions including disordered eating, disrupted sleep patterns, and excessive exercise. Because the mind and body work as one, I utilize mind-body approaches including mindfulness meditation and DBT to produce real results.

More Info About My Practice

My passion for healing anxiety related conditions lead me to receive training in mindfulness meditation practices from the MARC Institute at UCLA. These techniques provide lasting change to physical conditions including chronic pain and digestion issues.

Why Going to Therapy Does Not Mean You are Weak or Flawed

As Tao Te Ching once said, "Knowing others is intelligence; knowing yourself is true wisdom." Often times we are experts at observing others. We are able to pinpoint their flaws, destructive behaviors and the obstacles in their life that prevent them from experiencing love and connection.

It is less common for us to know the same details about our own life. Taking the same to process our own details is a sign of strength. As Brene Brown once said, "Vulnerability is the birthplace of connection and the path to the feeling of worthiness. If it doesn't feel vulnerable, the sharing is probably not constructive."
