My Approach to Helping
Scheduling the first therapy session can be the hardest part. Getting started is half the battle. Perhaps you’ve struggled with therapy in the past or, maybe, it’s your first time and you’re nervous or anxious about what to expect. I’m here to help you navigate those feelings and help turn the therapeutic process into one that you’ll enjoy. I believe that everyone’s story is unique and enter each session with an open-mind and willingness to meet you where you're at. I believe that you’re the expert when it comes to your own life experiences and am here to provide the strategies and tools you need to help you help yourself.
I help individuals develop knowledge and skills necessary to process and deal with difficult situations. These are taught using a variety of methods. Are you a visual learner? Let’s draw it out!
