My Approach to Therapy

I am a Licensed Associate Counselor with a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Rowan University. My bachelor’s degree in Psychology is from Penn State University. My experience in the mental health field includes crisis intervention and suicide prevention among a diverse population, including the LGBTQPIA+ community. I have worked with people with a variety of different struggles including anxiety, depression, eating disorders, relationship difficulties, job stress, self-harm, and grief. I work with clients who are ready to explore connections between their past and present and gain relief from symptoms of anxiety and depression. Additionally, I help to equip my clients with tools to help them better manage life's everyday stressors. Anxiety, depression, and general life stressors can make us feel like we are walking around with a heavy weight on our shoulders. I would welcome the opportunity to connect with you and help you to achieve a greater sense of peace.

Groups I Work With

I offer targeted support to several distinct populations, ensuring that each individual receives care as unique as they are. My experience and focus areas are especially attuned to teenagers aged 14 and up grappling with the many transitional life changes, academic pressures, and emotional challenges that often surface during these formative years. I also work extensively with adults navigating various life stages, whether that involves career shifts, relationship challenges, or midlife transitions. Women's issues hold a special place in my approach, providing a nuanced understanding of women's challenges, from societal expectations to body image concerns. Additionally, I am attuned to the needs of the LGBTQ+ community, providing an affirming and safe space to explore issues related to gender and sexuality. Emerging adults, those in the 18 to 29 age range, benefit from my practice as they transition from adolescence to adulthood, often dealing with the uncertainties and responsibilities that come with this life stage. Each of these populations can expect to find in me a dedicated ally committed to their specific needs and healing journey.
