My Approach to Helping

There is a reason for the pain, and I want to find it with you. I take an active and engaged position in helping you explore yourself and your challenges. Through this process you become more self confident; you become more of yourself. We will form a collaborative relationship in which you can be open and honest without judgment, creating a path toward your goal.
I specialize in anxiety, trauma, PTSD, and unfulfilling relationships with partners, family, and friends. I am informed most strongly by therapy that looks deeply into your emotions and bodily feelings, as well as your automatic reactions and behaviors. I also incorporate a focus on what happens in the therapy room, in real time, to understand what happens to your in your other relationships. I am trained in Psychodynamic Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Together we will get down to the root issue and build a different kind of relationship where you can speak your mind.
