My Approach to Helping
When you feel alone and are in need of support, having a safe space to talk can make all the difference. Not only does this allow you the room to process what is going on, but it also includes a comfortable environment where you can learn coping skills to manage stress, find balance, and increase your self-awareness. I will support you as you identify dysfunctional thought and behavioral patterns and work to change them.
I specialize in the treatment of anxiety disorders, depression, relationship issues, trauma, PTSD, griefloss, life transitions, and multicultural concerns. In combination with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, I use mindfulness and self-compassion techniques to help you feel grounded, stay present, and regain lost confidence. Collaboratively, we will craft a treatment plan that works well for you. We may choose to incorporate homework, such as guided journaling, readings, worksheets, and mindfulness practices, as part of your treatment plan to help you grow. Through self-reflection, you will increase your self-awareness and gain personal insight.
We will identify your strengths, empowering you to embrace your struggles. There is an opportunity for personal growth in every struggle. When you’re ready to make a change, I am here to support your journey.
