What's My Approach to Therapy?

At Life's Learning, we are a team of caring clinicians, here to serve you with your counseling needs. Whether it is relationship challenges, feeling anxious or depressed, experiencing loss, transition, or adjusting to something tough, we are here to support you to find hope and healing. We understand life can be beautiful and hard, and we welcome you to our practice with compassion for the challenges life can bring. We currently have openings, depending on your counseling, billing, office, telehealth, or scheduling needs. We have interns who see clients for a reasonable rate as well. We offer counseling services to kids as young as 10 to adults in their senior years. Specialties range from couples counseling (emotionally focused therapy and Gottman), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) for anxiety and depression, trauma treatment (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing [EMDR]), grief and mourning, expressive therapies (use of art, sandplay, and play), and person-centered principles. We understand that coming to counseling can be a vulnerable decision and that something hard may be happening in your life. We value and are dedicated to providing a safe, warm, and compassionate space for you to work through what is most important to you.
