My Approach to Helping
In this space, you have the freedom to safely express your feelings, thoughts, experiences, life stresses, and desires. I aspire to provide all individuals with compassionate and unconditional support, helpful insight, and work together toward the relief of burdens. As the therapy deepens, I have found our therapeutic relationship grows and individuals will begin to find relief from emotional distress, improve personal relationships, develop insight into observed behavioral patterns and symptoms, and address the concerns that initially brought them to see me.
I approach therapy through a Contemporary Psychoanalytic Lens to gather a deep understanding of what is being communicated through one's behaviors, not just evaluating the symptoms one is experiencing. In the therapeutic process, individuals are encouraged to say whatever comes to mind...thoughts, feelings, and emotions.
