My Approach to Helping

I believe we are all capable of change, but we are not always able to do it on our own. Together we can work through whatever has been insurmountable for you to do on your own. Sometimes day-to-day problems get in the way of understanding what is best for ourselves - together we can navigate those struggles and attain a deeper understanding of who you are, who you want to be, and how to get there.

I approach symptoms and struggles from an accepting and compassionate place that allows us to understand the function your thoughts and behaviors may serve. During this joint exploration, I am able to deeply connect with each person. It is through this alliance that I can help you understand how to help yourself and alleviate your suffering.

I work with a wide variety of people age 12 and up. I see adults with a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, substance abuse, relational problems, and life transitions. I see adolescents who are struggling with social and behavior problems, anxiety and depression.
