My Approach to Helping
PLEASE NOTE: At this time, I am unable to accept new clients.
What would it be like to be able to look inside yourself and value what you find there? A positive, healthy connection with yourself gives you the confidence to take effective action in the world and helps you to feel worthy of self-care. Maybe, though, like so many people, you've learned to ignore your feelings and to mistrust yourself, and so it has become hard to believe that the answers you need are actually inside of you. Without a strong sense of trust in your own value and perceptions, it's all too easy to become depressed and anxious.
Within a safe, accepting space, and with highly effective therapeutic tools, my clients reclaim their answers and gain a renewed appreciation for who they are. My goal for them is to resolve their current difficulties, and also to bring that safe space and those therapeutic tools with them into their lives.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With
At this time when social distancing is critical, I am offering teletherapy so that treatment can take place within the new constraints. I offer individual therapy sessions, consultations, group work and couples sessions to adults ages 18 and older. I have worked with clients to address a wide variety of difficulties, such as symptoms of depression, the aftereffects of trauma, low self-esteem, and relationship issues. I also have specialized training in working with anxiety disorders, including training in EMDR and hypnosis, and I have led several groups focused on understanding and resolving anxiety symptoms.
