My Approach to Helping
Hi, I'm Jillian! I work with teens and adults who are navigating anxiety, trauma, shifting identities, or the weight of expectations. I believe therapy works best when we co-create a space grounded in warmth, curiosity, and genuine connection. You can expect me to bring deep respect for your lived experience, alongside humor and a human, down-to-earth presence.
My approach is collaborative and flexible. Some days we might talk through what’s coming up for you; other days, we might slow down and check in with what your body is holding. I offer coping tools and reflection practices tailored to your strengths, for a writer, that might look like journaling; for an artist, maybe drawing or visual mapping.
I have specialized training in restorative justice practices and LGBTQIA+ affirming care, and I’m especially passionate about working with people exploring who they are whether that’s around identity, relationships, family, or finding a path that feels more aligned. Above all, I want you to feel safe, seen, and supported as you navigate the parts of your story that matter most.
