My Approach to Helping
Jaymie is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner who has been working in healthcare for over 15 years. Since 2013, she has worked as a registered nurse and has experience in different areas such as critical care, inpatient medical care and specialty surgeries, cardiology, memory care and rehabilitation, and psychiatry. As a former member of a Program for Assertive Community Treatment (PACT), she became proficient in crisis prevention and intervention, and motivational interviewing. She is an instructor of mental health nursing at the undergraduate university level.
Jaymie’s practice philosophy is that a lot of healing can come from within. She currently specializes in co-occuring illnesses, anxiety, and depression. On her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children.
