I have worked in social service and mental health settings. I am currently in private practice at 815 John Street, in Evansville, Indiana. I work hard on developing rapport and have a professional commitment to providing the best care possible.
I have training in a variety of modalities including structural family therapy, emotionally focused therapy with couples, trauma focused therapys(EMDR, prolonged exposure therapy, and cognitive processing therapy),Gestalt therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy and specific training with blended families, families of incest victims, adults from dysfunctional homes and I have studied helping strategies involved in the treatment of many other presenting mental health problems.
I believe in the inherent dignity of each person and focus on the uniqueness of each client. The path taken in therapy is often one that builds on the foundation of a client's life experiences and helps them move forward with less pain.
