My Approach to Helping
Asking for help isn’t easy. It can feel scary, painful, and overwhelming. Yet, I believe it is worth the risk when you know you are not alone. That’s why when you are ready to ask for help, I am here to provide a trustworthy, safe, and collaborative counseling relationship. I have successfully helped others with anxiety, grief, depression, negative thoughts, emotional wounds, and relationship issues. I offer a comforting, warm, and genuine atmosphere, and use a variety of interventions such as EMDR, Somatic Experiencing (SE), and sand-tray therapy.
My approach is grounded in attachment and psychodynamic theory, focusing on the importance of relationships, connection, and the influence of our past. I also enjoy incorporating education, tools, and humor to help you feel at ease. Whether you have goals in mind or aren’t sure where to start, my goal is to work together so you feel safe, heard, and excited about life.
I am particularly passionate about working with anxiety, trauma, and women’s health issues. I believe everyone should have access to quality counseling because I have seen first-hand the benefits and transformative nature of therapy. I would be honored if you asked me for help, so call or email me and we can start your healing here together.
